Tremors Causes

Because of symptom overlap, it is not always possible to identify the cause of the tremor.  In some cases, there is a genetic component as children of Essential Tremor parents have a 50% chance of inheriting the condition.  In many other cases, the cause may be environmental.

We have reviewed the literature and have identified several causes of tremor on the cellular level.  Each one is discussed in more detail at the linked site.
